What is SDS (Safety Data Sheet)?

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are documents that provide detailed information on chemicals, chemical compounds, and chemical mixtures.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are documents that provide detailed information on chemicals, chemical compounds, and chemical mixtures. These documents are an important part of maintaining a safe environment for workers and personnel that are responsible for handling chemical substances. To improve customer experience we are continually adding Safety Data Sheets in multiple languages including: English (EN), Spanish (ES), French (FR), Italian (IT), German (DE), Dutch (NL), and Portuguese (PT).

SDSs are outlined in a consistent 16-section format so you can easily find the appropriate and relevant information. Sections 1 through 8 provide information on the chemical, identification, potential hazards, composition, precautionary practices, and emergency measures. Sections 9 through 11 and Section 16 detail the physical and chemical properties of the substance, its stability and reactivity, toxicological information, and any additional information including the revision date of the document. Sections 12 through 15 explain information regarding proper waste disposal, transport regulations, and any applicable regional or national regulatory information.
