Does the iris analyze Cr+6 (Chromium VI) to method 3500-CR?
The iris has both low and high range methods for Chromium VI, and are adaptations of the ASTM method D1687-92, but a custom curve can be built.
The Chromium VI methods on the HI801 iris spectrophotometer are an adaptation of the ASTM Manual of Water and Environmental Technology, D1687-92, Diphenylcarbohydrazide method. SM3500-Cr B does appear to use similar chemistry.
SM3500-CR B can be carried out on the Hanna spectrophotometer as written by creating a custom method and calibration curve.
