Why does my manual say I need to use a plastic beaker?
Glass beakers, and metal containers can cause interferences in your readings if the four ring probe is not positioned properly.
Glass and metal can cause EMC interferences (electromagnetic interferences) with your EC probe readings. Use a plastic beaker, and keep probes at least an inch away from all sides of the beaker helps to prevent this.
